A Notion system for freelancers · new from Tidystack

From “yes!” to kickoff , without chasing anyone twice.

Your client said yes days ago. The brief is still empty, the files haven't landed, the contract isn't signed, and nobody pays you for the chasing. Kickoff OS turns that limbo into a board that chases for you.

What's inside

Five components. One job: get you to kickoff.

Client portals are showrooms. Kickoff OS is an engine, built to get the brief, the files and the signature out of your client, politely.

📋

Onboarding board

Every new client crosses 5 stages, Welcome → Brief → Assets → Contract → Kickoff, with days-since-yes in view and the next action computed for you.

📥

Asset checklist with chase cadence

Every file and access you're owed has a days-waiting counter and a suggested script. The killer feature.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need a paid Notion plan?

No, everything works on Notion's free plan, including the client portal pages and the dashboard formulas.

Can my client use the portal without a Notion account?

Yes. Publish their portal page to the web for read-only access, or invite their email (free) if you want them ticking checkboxes and dropping files directly.

Does it send the emails automatically?

No, and that's deliberate. The board tells you exactly when to chase and hands you the script; you stay in control of a relationship that's just starting.

Can I change the chase timing?

Yes. The gentle/firm cadence (3 and 7 days) and the health thresholds (5 and 10 days) live in small formulas, the Setup page shows exactly what to edit, copy-paste ready.

How is this different from Get Paid OS?

Same engine, different end of the project. Kickoff OS runs from “yes!” to kickoff; Get Paid OS runs from work done to money in. Most freelancers end up wanting both.

What if it's not for me?

Reply to your receipt within 14 days and you get a full refund. No questions, no friction.

Kickoff handled? Make sure you get paid too.

Get Paid OS, the original Tidystack system, tracks every invoice and hands you the chase email the moment one slips. Same engine, other end of the project.
